Cedarville Recreational Trail

Project Description

This project consists of the construction of a 1,400-foot paved recreational trail within the City Park in Cedarville, Arkansas. The trail was designed to comply with ADA standards and was funded by the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism through a grant from the Trails for Life Program. The project included both asphalt and concrete paving, and was designed to have a maximum grade of 5%. This project provided the citizens of Cedarville with a safe, all weather trail and created an additional attraction for the City Park. Hawkins-Weir Engineers provided preliminary design services, grant funding assistance, project design services, and during the construction phase provided construction observation and construction management services.
